Later Never Comes

Are you one of those people who says “Oh I’ll just do this later” or “Now isn’t the right time”.

I admit sometimes I use those excuses when I shouldn’t. Honestly no one should because guess what? Later may NEVER COME.

We only have one life to live and if we hold everything off until the time is “right” then our dreams, goals, and aspirations will never happen.

The whole concept of holding anything off until the time is “right” is bogus because the time will NEVER be right and you’ll be stuck making endless excuses to defend the excuse that the time is not right.

We don’t plan everything in our lives, I mean hell we don’t really plan much of anything in our lives. Life just sort of happens, but that’s the beauty of it.

Some people hold off on finishing their degree, going on that vacation, charity work or doing a big project. Don’t waste anymore time attempting to wait for the correct moment to come.

YOU have to MAKE that moment. If you want something done then you have to sit down and decide to take the time out to do it with no excuses! My biggest fear in life is that I will grow old and realize that I didn’t do EVERYTHING I wanted to do, because the “timing” wasn’t ideal.

Seize the moment! Whether it’s opening your own business, going back to school, doing photography, or going somewhere that you’ve ALWAYS wanted to go.

We never know when we may take our last breath so live as if everyday that you wake up could be your last.

You’ll be more motivated, creative, determined and probably less likely to use that “Wait until later” excuse.

Excuses will always be there, house work will always be there, time to sleep and relax will also always be there. When an opportunity comes knocking on your door take it!!! Don’t delay because you may not ever get another chance like it.

Life is about decisions. We have the power and control to make the decisions that are best for us, the ones that could totally change our lives.

Even if “Now” really isn’t the right time to do something that you’ve been wanting to do, start prepping!

That could mean that you start saving, you start hatching a plan and putting it in motion so that you will be able to accomplish what ever it is that you’re wanting to do.

Life waits on NOBODY. Time waits on nobody. If you don’t get out there and follow your dreams and adventure to see what’s out there you’ll just be another person left behind.

Before you know it you will have wasted your life away on excuses as to why you couldn’t accomplish something. Wouldn’t you rather look back on your life and say, “Wow I don’t know how I made that happen but I did!”.

That’s how I want to remember my life at least. That way even when I’m old, frail and not as energetic I’ll be able to remember the good days.

The days filled with adventures and the days filled with endless work on writing to try and perfect my craft to mean something to people.

I want you to ask yourself what you want to accomplish. I know you’ll be able to do it because you’ll take advantage of what ever opportunity may come your way.

Later may never come.

Seize now and live for NOW.

Work hard for your aspirations so they will become your reality.

Lastly don’t use the “perfect timing” excuse. Life happens and either you make the best of your time or time gets the best of you!
